Prior to joining the JFK Communications team, Kara spent seven months as a public relations intern at Diccicco Battista Communications in Horsham, PA. In this position, Kara worked on consumer-driven accounts providing media relations, community relations and event planning support. Kara graduated from La Salle University in May of 2008 with a bachelor’s degree in communications with a focus in public relations and a minor in marketing. While at La Salle, Kara was an active member of the school’s newly formed Public Relations Student Society of America chapter, holding the position of vice president. Kara developed the chapter’s Web site and wrote for the communication department’s newsletter. |
